The Foundation seeks to establish employment
opportunities that have inexpensive start-up and maintenance costs.
The Foundation concentrates on building locally manufactured product
export businesses. Export businesses maximize job creation, and
use US dollars to purchase local goods, thus helping to expand the
local economy and individual self-reliance.

Grandway Honduras, Choluteca
Cause for Hope helped facilitate the starting of
Grandway Honduras. Grandway Honduras is a division of Grandway, USA
which is owned and operated by Dale Gledhill, who has served on CFH's
Board of Directors. The factory near Choluteca has greatly improved
the lives of its more than 150 employees and their families. They
are grateful for their clean, safe, and congenial work environment,
and for steady and consistent employment. The company produces a variety
of quality drawer organizer products from plantation-grown mahogany.
The final products are shipped to the United States and sold through
major retail outlets including Williams-Sonoma, Bed Bath and Beyond,
and Hold Everything. As a result of increasing demand, employment
is expected to rise to 200 workers soon.
