Why are we doing this? Because we can truly make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate. Caring for the poor is an essential principle throughout the scriptures, when we lift others we are humbled in the process. As we allow others to be self-reliant they are put in a position to do the same.

How is Cause for Hope different from other similar organizations?
Cause For Hope differs from all other organizations by solving LONG TERM SELF-RELIANCE. By mentoring individual families according to their needs, we use a multi-program approach of proven business techniques. This allows CFH to help each able-bodied individual improve their temporal circumstances. CFH uses a unique results driven system to measure our effectiveness among our clients.

How are we different from other humanitarian organizations?
We measure our success by regularly monitoring the change in our clients income and savings. Our programs of small business training, vocational training, job placement, and micro credit lending are only a means to an end of increasing the income and savings of our clients. Our primary focus is to permanently improve the economic situation of individuals and families living in poverty. In addition, we have a proprietary data base system that allow us to measure changes in familiy income and savings that is online and instantenous.

Aren't there needs in the United States that we should be helping with instead?
There certainly are needs in the United States; however, in Central America there are not the same resources as those in the US or Europe. Unemployment sometimes reaches 50% and underemployment is another 20-30%. The average income is only $100 - 200 a month. In the areas we provide service, there is very little hope for opportunity without our advanced methods of training, and there are very few Government resources, if at all, to help provide for the poor.
